Hansel ‘n Griddle: Growing a Franchise from Within

Of the five Hansel ‘n Griddle locations in New Jersey, four are franchises opened in the past three years. And operated by former employees. Now the fast-casual restaurant known boasting four dayparts and more than 70 freshly cooked-to-order menu items is aggressively scaling its franchising program to other parts of the northeast. “We see an opportunity to fill a void in the fast-casual segment, which has plenty of burger joints, sub shops, Mexican restaurants and pizzerias.
